Ash Langholz MA, NCC, LPCC, LMHCA

Whether you're seeking change, new tools for your toolbox, a place to process a life event, or self understanding, I'd like to welcome you. My practice is influenced by mindfulness, meaning, CBT, nature, health & performance psychology, however my approach is collaborative and unique to the personal goals of everyone I work with. I welcome anyone to reach out as I support a variety of identities and experiences. I start with what the research suggests is helpful and then we experiment with how that feels in your real, lived experience. Working with me you can expect a human to human relationship, a compassionate place to bring all parts of you, to go deep, and occasionally laughter.

I took the scenic route to becoming a therapist. I first found my way to the mountains of the west and into a career in media and storytelling with the brilliant teams at REI and The Dirtbag Diaries Podcast. Through hundreds of conversations and my own experiences navigating life and wild places, I’ve gained a deep understanding of the various highs and lows of an adventurous existence, the engines fueling constant pursuit, and the ways the outdoors can be a source of both pain and healing.

I’ve been on my own path, slowly moving away from out-running, over-thinking and under-feeling toward the wisdom rising from listening to mind, body and soul. I find great meaning in helping others tap into a wider, truer, more expansive and whole way of being. It’s a great honor to be a part of others’ journey and I look forward to being a part of yours.
